keyboard shortcutA keyboard shortcut is a combination of keys that, when pressed simultaneously, perform some task that ordinarily requires use of a mouse or other input device and may take longer to do. In Windows XP , for example, pressing Control-Alt-Delete will bring up the task manager utility for application and system monitoring and control. Other popular keyboard shortcuts include Control-C (copy), Control-P (print), Control-V (paste), Control-X (cut), and Control-Z (undo).
