For example, a software application might be listed as a project deliverable in a request for proposal ( RFP ). In its frequently asked questions section, the AskOxford Web site says that although "deliverables" has been included in their recent dictionaries, such as the New Oxford Dictionary of English (1998), the term's use in this way is relatively recent.
