CosmoCosmo was a set of products for developing presentations and applications that took advantage of the Java programming language, 3-D environments using the Virtual Reality Modeling Language ( VRML ), and other multimedia elements. The Cosmo Player is still supported for use in Silicon Graphics' IRIX operating system. Cosmo has generally been replaced by open source graphics development programs that adhere to the OpenGL , VRML, and other standards.
