SiteSweeperApparently no longer distributed, SiteSweeper was a program that tested and reported on the validity of the hypertext link on the pages in a Web site . SiteSweeper tested links to external Web sites as well as links between pages on the same site. This kind of program is generically called a link checker . NetMechanic is a company that provides a service similar to Sitesweeper from its own remote application server. Users pay a monthly fee for link checking reports and related services.
