PS/2 connectorA PS/2 connector is a round connector with six pin s that some makes of personal computer use for the keyboard or mouse connection. There are two sizes, one with a diameter of about 1/4 inch and the other with a diameter of about 3/8 inch. The smaller size is more common, but adapters are available to convert one size to the other. In recent years, the Universal Serial Bus ( USB ) connector has largely supplanted the PS/2 connector, especially for use with a mouse . The PS/2 connector was used in IBM's PS/2 line of personal computers and was widely adopted by other manufacturers.
