Riven is the sequel to Myst , the best-selling puzzle-and-exploration computer game on CD-ROM from Broderbund. Like Myst , Riven was created by two brothers, Robyn and Rand Miller, who took several years to build its 4,000 graphic images and three hours of animation. Released in October, 1997, Riven became an immediate success and has stimulated sales of Myst as well.
