A TechStat Accountability Session is a face-to-face, evidence-based peer review of a government IT program. The goal is to reduce wasteful spending, improve performance and share best practices among government agencies.TechStat Accountability Sessions are authorized by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) as a follow-up to information made transparent by another government program, the IT Dashboard.
