Autodesk ConstructwareConstructware is Autodesk's Web-based project management tool that connects different business operations and information in order to standardize business processes. The software monitors work orders by providing communication and visibility throughout the various aspects of a construction project, such as documentation, design and cost. XML-based software controls the exchange of data between Constructware and others application used by the client. One feature set in the application, for file management, has the capabilities of online document collaboration sessions, electronic tracking of file activity, a client-defined structure with independent security settings, and automatic reference (xref) file detection. In addition, the executive dashboard component allows users to review projects at a summary level and individually as well, examining information such as job costs, change orders and contract history. Autodesk Constructware is part of Autodesk’s Collaborative Project Management Suite Solutions and can be supported by Internet Explorer 5.0 or above and a 32-bit operating system. In addition, certain implementations of Constructware come with features such as eReview, Brava! and file upload and download components; these implementations require the use of Java applets and/or Active X.
