eTEKeTEK International Inc. is a Colorado-based software development firm that offers both web-based and network-based accounting and business management software that can be utilized by construction industries. All eTEK software is based on Windows and can therefore be easily integrated with other Microsoft applications. eTEK’s solutions allow users to manage normal accounting functions, such as general ledgers, budgeting, create financial reports, manage cash, and track accounts payable and receivable. In addition, users are able to manage their supply chains and track job costs and payroll. The software packages provided by eTEK include Plexus, ePRO Project Manager, eTEK Xpress, and eTEK Accounting. eTEK Accounting comes in two versions – one for SMBs (small- and medium-sized businesses) and the other for larger enterprises. The version for SMBs includes features such as general ledgers, budgeting, and accounts payable and receivable, but also has add on modules such as payroll for all 50 states, AIA billing and supply chain management. The enterprise version includes the same features as the version for smaller contractors; in addition, it is based on Microsoft SQL Server, which allows for many concurrent users and a higher volume of transactions. The newest version of eTEK Accounting is eTEK Accounting for Microsoft Office 2007. This product was designed to give clients the option to upgrade their accounting system to be fully compatible with Microsoft Office 2007 applications. eTEK Xpress, meanwhile, was initially created as a single-user version of eTEK Accounting.
