patch Matrix

Part of the Video glossary:

A patch Matrix, in a video context, is the display in the Monitors window that identifies video and audio tracks in the current source clip and the available tracks in the Sequencer window. The patch Matrix allows the user to direct the flow of the source clip tracks into Sequencer tracks.
