DCF File Format

DCF is an audio file used for copy-protection. DCF files contain media information which is encoded with Digital Rights Management (DRM) copy protection. DCF files are used by some cell phones for saving protected media files. DCF files can usually only be opened by phones that are authorized and DRM-compatible. DCF files are similar to .DM files, except that the file which allows the media to be opened is contained in a different location.
