QIF is a file extension for a Quicken Interchange Format file used by Intuit’s Quicken.

A QIF file is a specially formatted ASCII text file that contains financial data to be transferred between files or to the Quicken servers.

While Intuit developed the open QIF format and its programs may open the files, the QIF file is no longer endorsed or supported by Intuit and may be used by other programs.

MIME type: application/qif
