Interplay compressed sound file (Fallout 1,2, Baulder's Gate)

ACM is a compressed audio file format used by Interplay computer games. ACM files contain audio information stored in a proprietary format. Video games such as Fallout, Baulder’s Gate and BioWare commonly use this file format. ACM files can be converted to other audio file formats, such as .WAV files, by using any audio conversion software.
