BLOB file used with various database software
BLB is a file extension for a data file used with various database software. BLB stands for Binary Large OBject. BLB files are also referred to as a BLoB file. BLB files contain large amounts of binary data, (often image or multimedia data) and is sometimes used as a data type for database fields as well. BLB files can be used to transfer data from one database to another in a process known as “blobbing." BLB files can be opened using the database software that created them.
