CAS is a file extension for a read-only memory (ROM) file extracted from an Atari Cassette. CAS stands for CASsette. CAS files contain a copy of an Atari Digital Cassette, which can be used with an Atari emulator. CAS files allow the use of Atari applications on other operating systems, including Windows.
