CardScan Database (CardScan)

CDB is a file extension for a database file used by Cardscan. CDB stands for Card DataBase. Cardscan software is used to gather contact information from business cards using OCR (optical character recognition) technology. 

CDB files contain contact information gathered from business cards, though Cardscan software can be integrated with a content management system (CMS) or with most Personal Information Management (PIM) software. CDB files can be opened by Cardscan software.

The CDB file extension is also associated with TCU Turbo C Utilities Main database files, conceptual model backup files (PowerDesigner) and Clipboard files.
