CWS File Format

Claris Works template

CWS is a file extension for a template file format used by ClarisWorks for one of its office productivity applications such as its word processor, spreadsheet or presentation software.

ClarisWorks became AppleWorks when Apple acquired Claris in 1998. CWS files are used under both names and as well the Windows versions that existed of both, however AppleWorks is discontinued and has not been updated since 2004
