Bitmap Graphics file
DDB is a file extension for a device-dependent bit map or raster graphics file format used by hardware manufacturers such as those that make graphics cards. Each would be saved in a proprietary format optimized for fastest display by structuring the bitmap closely to the form which will be displayed by the device.
DDB files are generally not opened directly but can be viewed with third party applications.
