Guitar Pro 3 file
GP3 is a file extension for tabulature file format in/for/used by Arobas Music Guitar Pro.
Guitar Pro is a program intended to simplify writing tabulature for guitar and other string instruments and is available for Windows, MacIntosh and Ubuntu. Tablature is a type of musical notation that depicts instrument fingering rather than the standard notation symbology seen on scores and sheet music.
GP3 files may be printed for a hard copy or played using MIDI data.
The TAB file extension is also associated with tabulature files.
