Intermediate file (Microsoft Developer)
IDB is an intermediate file format used with Microsoft Visual Basic. IDB files are created during the debugging process, and save the compiler’s state. These files can be used for minimal program rebuilds and incremental compilations. IDB files are generally produced by the Visual C++ application.
