Developer Studio file (Microsoft)

NCB is a file extension for a database file used with Microsoft Visual Studio. NCB stands for Non-Compiled Browse file. NCB files contain information about symbols used in a C++ program, as well as user-defined classes. NCB files are used by Intellisense, a component of Microsoft Visual Studio that allows code autocompletion. NCB files also house information used by ClassView and the WizardBar, 2 other components of Microsoft Visual Studio. NCB files can be opened by Microsoft Visual Studio.
