NET File Format

Network configuration file

NET is a network configuration file used by internet websites. Website programmers use the .NET file format to set information and configure the network interfaces. Using this file format allows you to set the host name, default gateway, and any static routes for the host. .NET files can also be used to set up a one-step configuration, which is an alternative to configuring everything needed to set up a host separately.
