ODP is a file extension for a presentation file format used by OpenOffice.org in the OASIS Open Document standard.
The Open Document Format (ODF) is an XML-based open source file format for saving and exchanging text, spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
Besides ODP, the most commonly encountered OpenDocuments extensions include:
- ODT for text files
- ODC for charts
- ODS for spreadsheets
- ODG for graphics
- ODF for formulas or other mathematical equations.
