PRJ is a generic file extension for a project file used with many applications. PRJ stands for ProJect.
PRJ files are commonly used to store data, settings, and references to other files used by the project. PRJ files can be opened by the program that created them, including but not limited to Miscrosoft Visual Basic, AutoDesk AutoCAD, and Mackie Tracktion.
