Pro Tools session file
PTF is a file extension for a session file used by Pro Tools 7 or later. PTF files contain the audio, software instrument, and MIDI tracks, as well as audio effects and project settings for the session. PTF files can also contain references to external audio data. PTF files are cross-platform, and can be opened by Avid Pro Tools on Mac OS X and Windows.
The PTF file extension is also associated with Pro Tracker Tennis Match files and LiveNote portable transcript files.
