PUT is a compressed file format created for Microfox. Microfox developed software for DOS, Win3, Win95, and NT, including Hard Disk Menu, EZ-Tree (Genealogy), LAN Menu, Ahelp Clipper Library, and MicroFox Utilities. PUT files are used to compress information compiled from these programs.
