Voice file (Qualcomm Pure Voice)
QCP is an audio file format created by Qualcomm. QCP files contain audio information recorded directly, usually by a phone. The PureVoice software created by Qualcomm for use with this file is primarily used for voice recordings. It allows for clear, understandable audio to be recorded and played back. QCP files are used by some cell phones for voice ringtones and audio notes. QCP files can be played on the device they are recorded on, or in Windows Media Player if they are converted to .WAV files. QCP files can be converted to .WAV files using Qualcomm’s free conversion software called PVconverter.
