RES File Format

Resource file (Microsoft Visual C++)

RES is a file extension for a compiled Win32 resource file format used by Microsoft Visual C++, a software development program. RES files may contain images, cursors, sounds and version information.

With the increasing popularity of object-oriented programming, C has been replaced as the most popular programming language by C++. C++ is a superset of the C language that uses an entirely different set of programming concepts.
