Microsoft Train Simulator terrain file
TD is a file extension for a terrain file used with Microsoft Train Simulator. TD files contain quadtree terrain data used by Microsoft Train Simulator. TD files use a quadtree pattern, which divides terrain into four pieces, and divides those pieces into four pieces, and so on, until it reaches a certain size, and stops dividing.
TD files are used by Microsoft Train Simulator, though not directly viewable.
