UIF File Format

Long prompts for Microsoft Windows (WordPerfect for Windows)

UIF or Universal Image Format File is an extension for files used to store a disk image. Primarily used by ‘Magic ISO’ by MagicISO Inc., UIF is a compression image file format for backing up CD/DVDs.

MagicISO has a freeware program called MagicDisk that can open UIF files on Windows computers. For the Macintosh, you have to convert the file to ISO format. The tool UIF2ISO does that by dropping the UIF file onto the tool. Once converted, the file can be opened or burned.

UIF file extensions are also used by Word Perfect for long prompts in Microsoft Windows.
