WIN File Format

Window file (Microsoft FoxPro)

WIN is a file extension for a backup file used by Microsoft's Visual FoxPro. WIN files contain a backup of the  FoxPro window definitions and statuses and can be restored using the RESTORE WINDOW command. WIN files can be opened by Microsoft Visual FoxPro.

The WIN file extension is also associated with dBase Window files and  ProEngineer Window preferences files.
