Prior to joining the site, Alex worked as a knowledge broker, Web designer, carpenter, grande mangier and IT consultant, though rarely on the same day.

In his spare time, Alex enjoys reading, fishing, cycling, gardening, cooking and hiking.

Alex graduated from Colby College in 1998 with a bachelor's degree in biology and sociology.
