The site serves over 1,000,000 unique visitors each month, and shows over 6 million monthly ad views. |  | How is WhatIs.com Used? 89% of users who have taken our survey have our site bookmarked and over 50% say they have made WhatIs.com their home page. 24% of the survey takers visit WhatIs.com once a day and 51% at least once a week. The average user session duration is over 7 and a half minutes. Although we do get a significant number of users discovering our site by searching the major search engines, we find that the large majority of our current users come to our site directly.
