IDW File Format

Autodesk Inventor schematic drawing file

IDW is an image file format used by Autodesk Inventor. Autodesk Inventor creates 2-D and 3-D vector-based drawings, used to design and simulate mechanical products. IDW files contain the finished designs, and may contain .IPT, .IAM, and .IPN files. IDW files may be exported to .DWG files so they can be opened by Autodesk AutoCAD.
