Clipart file (Printmaster Gold)

LAY is a file extension for clip art file format used by Printmaster Gold.

Clip art, frequently used in desktop publishing before the arrival of the Web, is "canned" artwork of common, often used images designed for use in publications or Web pages. The use of clip art can save artists time and make art both possible and economical for non-artists. Clip art includes both subject-related illustrations and visual elements such as horizontal lines, bullets, and text separators.
