MSP file format icon

MSP is a file extension for a Windows Installer patch file format used by Windows and Microsoft programs, typically for bug fixes, security updates and hotfixes.

Most Windows patches are sent as MSP files. MSP files open in Windows Installer.

The MSP file extension is also used for Microsoft Paint bitmap files
